Description
A fine 19th Century Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Medallion plate in great condition with no cracks or chips, and with its hand painted decoration also being in lovely order. Made Circa 1880.
Every decorated panel is different from the other..and they all are beautifully rendered.
There is good evidence of age to its reverse, being the kiln grit which has adhered to the inside rim from firing, and the quality of the coloured enamels used is of the period. The quality of the porcelain body itself is fine and also of the period.
It measures 247mm across ( 24.7mm).
