Gorgeous little Mosa decorative plate. Mosa (more commonly referred to as Royal Mosa) is a well-regarded Dutch porcelain factory. This miniature dates to 1981. It was part of a collection called "Miniature Plates of the World's Great Porcelain Houses", commissioned by Franklin Mint - a U.S. company that specializes in commemorative sets etc. The design of the woman and bird is intricate and has a mid-century abstract quality. The gold gilding is in good overall condition - a tiny area of loss near the end of the bird's tail and tiny rubs on the edge - see 3rd photo. Perfect for a dressing table, beside the bed for rings, or displayed on a shelf, miniature stand or on the wall with a small, disc plate hanger. 7.5cm across.
