Bridgewood pottery England , The Black Dyke Mill Band prize jug. Late 19th Century. Rare Thought to be approx 50 made , only 8 known examples exist today , made by Bridgewood Pottery of Anchor Works. The jug 24 cm high and 22 cm wide incl handle, with black transfer shows prizes and competitions won from 1856 to 1882. White glaze earthenware , produced 1882. The Black Dyke Mill Band was founded in 1855. This is a rare item in good condition for age,. Please see photos.
