Description
Looks like a very collectable hand painted English pottery piece or an unmarked piece of Noritake porcelain, which they did soon after the war. So, is sold as is, whatever it is. Approx 175mm high. Is not totally round but is segmented. I think it is nice. No stamps or markings on the bottom. And I know nothing about it but you can see your fingers shadow through it. Have since been told that this is Noritake, but being straight after WW2, they often left the Noritake markings off because of anti Japanesse sentiment. (because have been told this and do not actually know myself, I am selling as is) A watcher has told me that this is not Noritake. Another helpful watcher says, "Trader, I think that the watcher who told you it wasn't Noritake was pulling your strings or didn't have a clue. If you google Noritake Images, you will find a number of vases that look very much like your one.... ALL NORITAKE Stick to your guns and your intuition. Good luck. possumtrader (Thanks very much for that) So there you go. Thanks.
