This auction is for a lovely vintage J&G Meakin Sweet Nell cake plate.
*England, Sunshine reg 561073, regd Sol 391413, Old Drury 1665 backstamp and Sweet Nell on back. *In vintage condition with a couple of small chips on back and one on rim on front, some vintage wear, but still a cool plate. *Square cake plate, measures 21.5cm. *Stand not included.
Please remember when buying vintage items that they may have flaws. They are often one-off items we'll never see again and that's what makes them so special. I photograph all my items as best as I can and my phone often accentuates flaws and magnifies photos bigger than the item appears, so you can best see it. You may be pleasantly surprised when any flaws I point out or you see are not very noticeable to the human eye when you receive the item.
