Great Vintage Crown Devon Fieldings Rouge Royal Lustre Bowl

We offer today a real beauty from the good old days, made by the masters at at Fieldings Crown Devon in Stoke-on-Trent, in the very heartland of quality china production in England then.

This aged beauty, a rouge royal lustre bowl with black speckles, would a an interesting addition to your collection/display or why not indeed for immediate use. This bowl with its heavily gilded decorations shows its age and pre-loved condition. Please check the photos for details . The company's stamp was used from the 30s.

While it has some usage marks it still has a beautiful PING to it, indicating no cracks or repairs. But at close inspection we noticed a flat chip or manufacturing fault underneath the rim as shown in the close-up photo. We have therefore reduced the reserve for this rare and so collectable beauty. It measures some 25 cm across and just over 5cm in height at that stunning rim.
