This auction is for a lovely Colclough violets trio (cup, saucer, plate) c1960.

*Ridgway backstamp dates this piece to between 1955 to 1964. *On back Colclough bone china made in England, a product of Ridgway Potteries Ltd. C 46 8. *Lovely square, scalloped plate, the tiniest chip under the saucer (picked up with magnifying glass) and a few rubs on the gold of the saucer. These are very minor and don’t take away from the display or use of the item. On the cup, patt no 7876, a little loss to the gold on the rim. *Stand not included. *Please excuse any reflections from the light when taking photos - sometimes in photos there will be white spots which are not part of the china. Any flaws I see I will point out.

Please remember when buying vintage items that they may have flaws. They are often one-off items we'll never see again and that's what makes them so special. I photograph all my items as best as I can and my phone often accentuates flaws and magnifies photos bigger than the item appears, so you can best see it. You may be pleasantly surprised when any flaws I point out or you see are not very noticeable to the human eye when you receive the item.
