A stunning cut crystal salt pot with sterling silver rim

Made in Sheffield

20th Century [1922]

Crystal is round and faceted in large diamond pattern around the body. The rim is covered with a band of sterling silver.

Maker: Henry Hobson and Sons, active 1922 - 1937

Business was situated at Houndsditch, cnr London and Carver Streets, Sheffield.

Stamps are;

H.H. & SN in lozenge [Henry Hobson and Sons]

g [date stamp for 1922 Sheffield] Lion Passant [Silver purity of at least 92.5%] Leopard head [Sheffield]

105 g.

57 mm wide x 46 mm tall

The crystal is in very good condition, no chips or damage to the crystal and there are light dings on the silver rim
