This decanter, with its robust and sculptural silhouette, is a quintessential example of the 1970s-80s period, showcasing the visionary artistry of Jerzy Sluczan-Orkusz. The Art glass decanter's rich crimson palette and voluptuous curves are rare and captivating. A Pioneer of industrial design during the Soviet period in Poland, Jerzy Sluczan-Orkusz was one of the first graduates of the Academy of Arts of Wroclaw (1948-1953). He specialized in glass design. Jerzy Sluczan-Orkus is famous as one of the most prolific glassworkers of the Eastern countries during the communist period.
