Selling my two Awassi dairy ewes and all the gear that goes with them: 2 x two-and-a-half-year-old Awassi dairy ewes who have only had organic treatments and have grazed on organic land since I brought them at a few months old. They'll be three in September. They are both halter-trained and lead well. Neither have been bred yet. I paid $500 each for them as ewe-lambs and they came from Nelson. 1 x little stable with split stable door, storage cupboards, shelf and window-light purpose built for them (the little yards in the pic aren't for sale as they don't belong to me). 2 x portable blue troughs with plugs 1 brand new never used hand shears (paid $340 + for these- http://www.watsonmultishears.co.nz ) 1 x pair dagging shears 1 x Just-opened new bottle of Homeopathic Farm Supplies (HFS) herbal digestive drench (worth $80+ new) ½- full 5 ltr bottle of Stockman’s Friend (AHE) Unopened bottle of Zinc Suspension 50 Never used 20 ml oral drench gun (I’ve been using 10 ml syringes instead) Collection of homeopathic remedies from Homeopathic Farm Services incl: FE nosode 30c (unused) Alfalfa 30c (unused) Clostridium 30c Minerals 30c Nux Vomica 30c Chelidonium 30c (these remedies all worth $60 new each) Toe clippers 4 x new halter leads Happy to discuss splitting the whole sale up and just selling the sheep to one party and the stable to another but the sheep will have to go first. These sheep have become part of the family during their stay here, and while I am happy to be selling them I would love for them to go to a good home- ideally somewhere rural with plenty of grass.
