Hungarian Vizsla Purebred Puppies

Some Vizslas are wired and need to go all the time, and some like Roxy & Max are content to just chill and love to be near their owners or in their beds, but equally love to be ‘put to work’ whether it’s a walk or out indicating in the bush; not high strung like some Vizslas and GSPs. If you’re after a cruisey Vizsla, these pups come from great lines.

Dam (Roxy) Based in Wakefield, Nelson. Is small-average size for a Vizsla. She is very very chilled. We are on a lifestyle block and she has full access of the property but would rather just chill out in her bed or a sunny spot and be near us. Great hunter/indicator, I trained her under the Deer Dog Blueprint which has provided great everyday commands and obedience. She was pointing rabbits etc at 10-12 weeks old. If you're after a great, chilled-out, amazing temperament family/hunting dog you won't find much better! The vets think she's an absolute honey!

Purebre sire (Max) based in Motueka. He is true to breed size, being slightly smaller than most NZ ones you'd see. He is easy going with a great personality and loves a good mountain bike ride. Has had interactions with deer but owner is not a hunter. But like most Vizslas has the pointing blood in him.

We own the dam and she is our full-time house pet and indicating dog for my bush hunting missions.

Puppies will be well socialized and handled. We have four children who are loving helping look after them and farm animals on our land. Photos will be updated as pups grow.

They will have worming done, vet checks, their first vaccination, and be used to a crate, plus come with a puppy pack for their new owners.
