This series, FG 180 started in '66, to complete with the 3/ piece Martin's of that eara, it was made in '74, and has that beautiful aged tone, easier copares with my Martin Seller comment Saturday, 18 May 2024 I replaced the original nut for a Bone nut,and did the same to the saddle, it's made of Antler, which is why it sounds so good Seller comment Saturday, 18 May 2024 I know Yamaha use Urea as the material from which they make Most of their nuts and saddles from, but I feel Bone is the best ( clean + dry of course), BONE FOR TONE Seller comment Saturday, 18 May 2024
