New item from Waihalla, the afterlife for wood - hand made on Waiheke Island.

Pocket sized wood block and striker made from native New Zealand kanuka. This little piece of rustic fun is surprisingly loud despite its small size (F#6 tone approx.). In case you don't know, hold the label side in the palm of your hand and strike the block near the middle by the rounded edge with the striker and take in the primal beauty of the sound.

Beeswax finish, block dimensions 155x69x26mm.
