1989 Greco SS 63-50 (SG copy). Original P90's and very very nice!

You may have browsed thru the many and varied alternative old guitars that I and others restore and sell. Many have wonderfully unique and praiseworthy qualities, high build quality and playability, while some are more, shall we say, ‘ for the collectors’!

This 1989 Japanese made Greco SS 63-50 is real tasty! In the Greco catalogs this is shown as part of the high end 'Mint Collection'.

The Kluson copy tuners are smooth and hold tune, the neck dead straight, (a wide C shape, 43mm at the nut, 53mm at 12th fret), feels good in the hand, great frets, low smooth action and it resonates for ever, plus…….P90’s!

The frets feel very nice with plenty of meat left and every fret rings true. All the hardware seems to be original. I have not touched the wiring as it all works perfectly. The control cavity looks to be completely original. It has the old ‘wrap around’ bridge setup that everyone loves to hate but the intonation is good so…. (I guess you could always convert it to an ABR-1 and tail block but I ain’t doin it!)

It’s in great cosmetic condition too. Just a few small chips on the head-stock and a flake of finish paint that has come off around the rear strap peg. It has that lovely aged ‘creamed out’ colour and just looks fantastic.

At 35yrs old this gat is in full working/gigging order an ready to go. The p90’s sound great, strong and ballsy and the guitar is a joy to play.

Comes in a very nice non-original hard case (that does support the neck) and will be packed very well for shipping.
