Description
Electric arch top cutaway.
Soap bar pickup has an extra jack plugin for studio recording.
A gift from my wife in the early 80's, purchased from Norms Rare Guitars in Los Angeles.
Included is the original case which needs the stitching repaired.
This guitar comes with a hard case that I preferred when I was gigging as it was too valuable to let it get damaged. Has had "grovers" fitted before I owned it, it stays in tune, neck is very straight.
It currently needs new strings.
When I have played live gigs, the positive comments came all the time (what a great sound).
I am now retired and its time for someone else to enjoy this great guitar.
Please check out Gibson ES125 listings on Ebay USA.
I cannot understand why this guitar is not selling, it is a beautiful guitar, great neck to play, the sound is amazing and is in very good condition for a 1961.

Hi - what is the sound difference between the two output jacks? Is that set up for direct input in some way? 2*****s (31 • 6:27 pm, Tue, 14 May )Hi, I have played thru a desk recording and it leaves so much more room for adjustment, not having to rely on the amp sounds, meaning clean or add some overdrive. Hope this helps. cheers mrtweedle (143 • Tuesday, 14 May 2024 )
