We think that this vase is one of the nicest New Zealand Pottery pieces that we have seen in a long time.

1. It is big -height 30 cm, maximum diameter 15 cm.
2. It is a lovely shape - a bottle vase with a narrow neck.
3. The colourway is sublime - an attractive blue / green.
4. Victor Middlemiss (1922 - 2002) was an Invercargill potter. This most likely dates back to the late 1960's.
5. The vase is in great condition with no faults
6. Critics, at the time this piece was made, maintained that such bottle vases were the best pottery that Middlemiss created.
