Description
This may be a Royce McGlashen piece of pottery , as its very much in his style & colours , but it has no makers mark.
In immaculate AS NEW condition , no cracks , chips or flaws . This was a gift , and although it fits with our aesthetic , we already have 2 similar sized casserole dishes . ****please note that the design on lid has fine line details that ARE NOT cracks , just part of the design. And also that photos were taken with artificial light so there are some shadows
Its a great versatile shape and size and could be used for a lot of different dishes such as serving a pilaf , salad , warm stewed fruits , baked quinces , apple and rhubarb crumble ( without the lid ) as well as casseroles , stews , vege crumbles etc .
The capacity is 1.25 litres ( which still leaves a good safe space , so its not to the very top ) and it measures 17 cm across the top and is 8cm high (with lid on its 10cm high )
A lovely neutral soft grey with hints of blue and brown , this is a lovely piece of NZ pottery that will look great in any decor . It has clean lines and functional well made grips .
This will be packaged carefully , butvis shipped at buyers risk and expense .If sent by Aramex ( they dont deliver everywhere , but most places , )its approx $11.50 to urban areas . This will need to be confirmed at the end of auction , so please send your address through Trade Me promptly : )
