Designed by Rachel Bishop, it was produced as one of only four designs to celebrate the Moorcroft centenary. These pieces were only made during the centenary year, 1997, and each piece was given a unique number.

This piece is numbered 163, and is signed and dated by John Moorcroft, which only happened at exclusive promotional events.

As should be expected, as with all Moorcroft ginger jars, there are some slight rub marks where the lid makes contact with the body. These are not visible when the lid is on.
