I am not sure my photo's just don't to the amazing piece to their true justice. This amazing piece and the coral eyes are not just a little different, and show the colors of the green off so well. I imagine that it could be changed to make a necklace by a jeweler or another carver. I believe it is made from West Coast Pounamu and is an antique piece. The widest piece at the tips of wings is 1 1/2inches across, and just over 1 inch at its longest measurement. I see it in Pristine condition; I can't see or feel any defects. But I am not a specialist and as such, so I will leave this up to the bidders to decide.
