Description
This is such a rare find for the collector!! A Sonora Sonorette 50 France 1950 Miniature radio. Made in the PRC. Plastic casing. Battery operated. In working condition. You will find a video on my instagram page CottonTailCottageNZ. 11.5cm wide x 7cm tall. No damage. I am not claiming that this radio is vintage. The description I have written, is taken directly from the plastic casing, plus the fact that it was made in the P.R.C. confirms this. I estimate the approximate time of manufacture is the 1990's.
Pick up is New Plymouth central.

Sorry to disappoint but that is not vintage, it is a modern replica of the the 1950 style and has been manufactured fairly recently. u***a (378 • 8:18 am, Tue, 21 May )Hi, you have not disappointed. I am not claiming that this radio is vintage. The description I have written, is taken directly from the plastic casing, plus the fact that it was made in the P.R.C. confirms this. I estimate the approximate time of manufacture is the 1990's. Also, I haven't used the word vintage. Though I could have as vintage is 20 yrs and older, I certainly did not want to deceive. All this aside, it's a fabulous little radio and not often seen. Cheers. arohanuivintage (3232 • Tuesday, 21 May 2024 )Thank you for answering. Yes, it is a unique look, I did find some info on this version and the original it is modeled on and your date of the 1990s seems about right. u***a (378 • 3:05 pm, Tue, 21 May )Cheers arohanuivintage (3232 • Tuesday, 21 May 2024 )
