With the 'receiver wars' of the 70s, just about every major manufacturer had a high power unit. Technics had 3 receivers in the top 20. They were the overall winner with the SA-1000 at 330wpc, the SA-5770 (12th) @ 185wpc and the SA-5760 (18th) @ 165wpc into 8ohms.

I've owned this baby for years, it's been lovingly looked after and looks amazing lit up. It's incredibly rare, and sought after if you know anything about it. This sold for USD$800 when new I believe that's around USD$4660 in today's money. This beast rivals any Pioneer, Marantz, or Sansui of it's generation. It's massive, and I mean seriously Big with the largest transformer I've ever seen. The weight is equally impressive, with 23kg getting up there. This is Pickup Only.
