Denon is well known for its uncompromising approach to sound quality and the DRA-425 is no exception thanks to the well-respected Denon-developed circuitry.

With the resurgence of vinyl records, this is a great way to get into this format, as it features an excellent phono stage, so you can connect your record player directly to the amplifier.

With 50 watts per channel…this amp has plenty grunt to power to easily drive most speakers…and the power is delivered with really low distortion (THD) of 0.05%. Powerful high-speed transistors are used in a rational circuit configuration, reflecting DENON’s advanced amplifier technology, to deliver a hefty, stable power output.

The inbuilt AM/FM tuner has a 16-station memory, and is compatible with NZ station frequencies.

The DRA-425’s circuits handling low-level and high-level signals have been divided into separate blocks to ensure that influences from these signals on each other are held to an absolute minimum.

To bring this amp into the modern era….I’ll include a Bluetooth receiver, which enables you to wirelessly stream audio (such as Spotify) from any Bluetooth enabled device – like a mobile phone, iPad, Computer etc
