This "Super Zoom" is so-named because of the incredibly broad 18-200mm range. You might even consider this the "One Lens to Rule Them All" so to speak. So if you're travelling and have limited space (or just don't like lugging the weight of extra lenses) then this would be a great choice.
This is a Sigma "DC" type lens meaning it's designed for APS-C type digital sensors found in a range of Nikon cameras. Check your camera's features - if you are already using a Nikkor "DX" lens then this is comparable.
