Five chunky Australian crystal opal rough cuts with green, orange, red an purple opal colour visible. There are obvious colour bars running through the opals on the top left and bottom right of these photos, and when held up to the light you can see the stripey or patterned colour variations in the body tone (including a cognac red colour in one) of the base stones- an extra dimension to these opals that could distract you for hours! Size-wise they measure 19mm - 23mm in length. They could decrease in size after being cut and shaped and polished. Great stones to practice your cutting and polishing skills on, set them as the gems of your own jewellery designs, or add them to your collection! These natural, untreated opals are from a Jeweller's estate.
