Nine natural Australian light opal roughs with some nice opal colour peeking through. The second photo shows the reverse side of the stones. These roughs are virtually covered in "sand", so there is an element of mystery around them, as we don't yet know what's beneath the surface! It's up to you to uncover the gems. Some of them may not be solid enough to use for jewellery They range from approx. 12mm - 20mm in length. They will lose some size when the rough is removed.
