Very collectable Book
The story of a small doll, Persis, that goes on an adventure meeting two happy bears, cross Bear and happy Bear. She meets Turtle and Butterfly. Cross Bear gets cross with her, so she goes to climb a tree so she can get some honey for him, as a gift. She meets Crow and he shows her where to go and up and up she climbs and finds the honey. But home came the Bee who exclaimed crossly "That's my honey!" she was so startled she feels out of the tree! The Bears rescue her and she becomes part of the family.
In fairly good condition, aside from some issues around the bottom and top right-hand corner front and back boards (pictured) some wear and damage, right-hand bottom corners (both) which is typical with this type of board, especially being a children's book, a few scuffs and slight tearing to paper (not loose) to front cover, spine good, some staining on page 2 & 3 (slight yellowing) and small marks throughout book, mostly on the numbers at the bottom, light yellowish marks.
