Description
Susan Sternau is a landscape painter and author (on art) currently living in Coachella, Southern California. Originally from New York, she moved to San Francisco in 1995, to Sausalito in 2001, and to Coachella in 2020.
As well as being a very successful artist whose paintings are in great demand, she also teaches art and her most famous students were Warren Buffett and Bill Gates who took a lesson with her as part of Buffett’s 75th birthday celebration.
This superb painting shows the Golden Gate bridge at sunset, and the view is from East Fort Baker in Marin County across to San Francisco. I believe the original oil painting was done in 2003.
As shown in the photo, the frame size is 48.5cm high x 58.5cm wide. It is in excellent as new condition with a top quality frame, and was purchased in 2005 when I was living in Northern California.
Pickup in Prebbleton, or can be personally delivered to nearby suburbs in Christchurch and Selwyn for petrol cost (ask for a price). In other areas it can be packaged and sent by courier at the purchaser's risk given the glass.
