Hi there, the clock was dead original. Quite frankly the comments were erroneous and the people don't know what they are talking about. I have clock with exactly the same marking and dead original. Seth ThomS and Westclox by 1960s were brands for a larger company. Clock movements were made in Scotland. Hi, re your clock. Seth Thomas had a factory in Dunbarton, Scotland. Seth Thomas Snr came from Scotland and emigrated to America and started making clocks. His son Seth Thomas Jnr developed the business. Your clock is a genuine mid century clock. I have about 4 Seth Thomas clocks and one is marked Scotland.
