Brand new, in box. Picture of same open one I have. It will detect low-grade metals like iron (a nail) or aluminum (foil). It will also detect more valuable items like silver, copper, and gold.

Alot or fun searching with these and they work well. I have one for myself and a friend also has one, we find alot of coins at beaches and have found a few rings/broken necklaces and other jewelery, silver and gold.

This is an extra I got as another friend was going to buy it from me so he could come along but circumstances changed unfortunately.
