In excellent condition- no chips or cracks.
Antique H & S L Oriental Hand painted trinket box. It features beautiful pink roses and gold scrolls.
Bottom stamp reads: H & SL Oriental (Holmes & Son Longton) Longton is the town. ( “Earthenware manufacturer at the Clayton Pottery, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England.”
This company was sadly in business only a handful of years, 1899-1904 (5 years), so these pieces are more rare.
