We are feeding it to Sheep and Cattle who just love it as a supplement to baleage and Grass

Available in blocks that measure 600mm x 375mm and will weigh aprox 7kg when taken out of the Container.

The trays used help bind the Root and Sprout growth together to form a tight mass, the whole mass (Root and Sprouts) is eaten by the animals

How it is Grown Barley Grain is put into Trays on day 1 and on day 6 the Fodder is ready for feeding, during this time only water and controlled Temperature and Air flow are used to produce the Fodder.

Water Our hydroponic fodder system only require approximately 1.5 litres of water to grow 1kg of high-quality green fodder, compared to 55 to 75 liters of water used in conventional farming.

Consistency To get the optimal stage of growth, hydroponic fodder only requires just over 6 days from germination to harvest. A constant supply of green fodder is possible all year round to meet demand.

Nutrition The green feed grown from the hydroponic fodder system is highly nutritious when compared to conventionally grown fodder. It is high in protein and energy and packed full of healthy vitamins. Test show a 13% MJ/kgDM

Waste Feed grown in our fodder systems will be fully utilized by the animals as there won’t be any loss during feeding. Livestock eat the entire biomass, roots and all. The Fodder is grown in a environmentally controlled container

How to Order Place order 8 Days before the Fodder is required, payment to be made when order placed. A daily Fresh Supply can be made or every second day (Fodder would need to be kept in a cool place)
