Kale Cavolo Nero (Brassica oleracea)
You are buying approximately 200 x seeds of Kale Cavolo Nero.
Resembling a cross between Cabbage and Kale, this beautiful plant forms no head, and grows up in the form of a small palm tree.
Produces narrow recurved dark green savoyed leaves in a Rosette on top of the stem.
This is a very old and gorgeous ornamental rustic Italian variety.
Leaves can be used like Cabbage or Kale.
It is also known as Black Cabbage, Palmizo, Tuscan Kale, and Kale Lacinto.
Tips:
Sow seeds directly in place, approx. 20-30 cms apart.
Typically germinates in approximately 7-10 days under favourable conditions (soil temp 12-25 degrees).
Best sown early spring, and late summer through early autumn.
Maturity 70-80 days from direct sowing.
