Also known as “Bermudagrass in the USA “ is one of the most common grass types in Australia. Known for its drought tolerance Couch is a great grass to use in areas with restricted watering. Loves the heat not the cold and will go dormant in the NZ winter whilst in summer go medium to dark green under hot weather.
Has a fine leaf structure and a carpet covered appearance
Sowing rates are 1kg per 70 -100m2 with a minimum ground temperature of 15 degrees.
