For best germination rub the seeds vigorously between a folded piece of sandpaper before soaking in very hot water for 24 hrs. Take the seeds out and sow any that have swollen and changed colour from yellow to a light tan, these seeds have had the dormancy broken and are absorbing water. For all other seeds repeat the process of sandpaper and hot water soaking until all seeds are sown. This is for optimal germination. You can have success using other methods but germination may be erratic.
