Calcite shows itself in many colours and shapes. A beautiful piece of charcoal grey/brown calcite. It is a mineral that is reasonably soft and therefore often is used for carving. This piece does not need that as its crystal shape is just spectacular by itself. Because of the sharp edges the light on it plays a major role. A great start of your collection and to study or just a wonderful piece to look at in your home.
