Have just googled for the answer and found that Seth Thomas was an American and factory was in Plymouth (later re-named Thomaston) Connecticut. Don't have a clue as to why clock face has Scotland on it, sorry. Most likely made mid 60's. Thx rovernz (1260) • Tuesday, 14 May 2024

Thank you. Yes, Seth Thomas clocks were made in the United States, not Scotland. It appears that this is not a genuine Seth Thomas clock, as Seth Thomas did not manufacture in Scotland at all. Thank you for your thoughts. I'm not trying to be dishonest at all. I have listed as per what was in front of me without the benefit of any specific clockmakers knowledge. With the benefit of 'Google' I note you are right, that there has been reissues. I cannot determine it's age. Though it definitely appears to have 'age' to it.
