Directions for use: Place on a solid surface approximately 20-30cm away from your eyes. Do not look directly at the light. Use for 30min to 1 hour per day and repeat as required.

About SAD In autumn and winter, the lack of sunlight stops the hypothalamus from working properly. The lack of light is thought to affect the production of the hormone melatonin (which makes you sleepy).

A sad light uses bright lights to simulate sunlight, whilst eliminating the dangerous UV rays contained in sunlight. The additional light helps adjust the levels of melatonin which can help the symptoms of SAD.
