Description
This is an unused AED, Model HS1, (M5066A) arguably the most popular and reliable on the market. Priced approximately $1000 under normal retail price in NZ.
We are selling as we are going overseas for an extended period at the end of this month and have one over there. It is fully portable and we always have one in our home and or motorhome, and they are also perfect for a boat. Any semi isolated place or where you are more than 10 mins from an AED or ambulance.
'It allows anyone with little or no training to treat the most common cause of suspected sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) by delivering a shock quickly and effectively, wherever SCA happens. The HS1 AED provides practically real-time guidance through step-by-step voice commands from pad placement to performing CPR'
Simple courses also are on line & we recommend them.
This comes AED with at least five years of battery life and at least one year of pad life. Pads are not over expensive to replace and Philips are easy to get. $100 per year. Pop in the battery, the flashing light for 'standby' will start flashing, and it is ready to go.
We will post free of charge anywhere in NZ to the winner of this AED.

Questions & Answers (1)
How old is the battery and pads ? Thank Mike m*****x (375 • 8:21 am, Mon, 13 May )Hi thanks for the request. Photos show all the dates of expiry. The pads expire June 2025 & battery 2029. New pads avail in NZ approx $200. I understand they only have 2 years before needing replacing so you have to take that cost into consideration. Approx $100 a year for to keep pads ready to go.
