I haven't tested the console out, but will try to do so at some point and edit this listing or put an update in the comments accordingly.

I moved house in July last year and while I was between places, some items were stored at a friend's place. It is possible that these items were kept in an outdoor entrance area or a partially covered outdoor porch area for some weeks, but they may also have been stored in an indoor area. The rest of the time they have been stored indoors. There do not appear to be any visible signs of the items having gotten wet. It seems more likely the items were stored indoors, as when I opened the cardboard box they were in, some dust/fabric dust had settled on them.
