Description
Elvira and the Party Monsters is a 1989 System 11 pinball game designed by Dennis Nordman and Jim Patla, featuring horror show-hostess and pop culture icon, ELVIRA, Mistress Of The Dark.
Super fun, newbie friendly with loads of ghoulish attractions and plenty of camp, with some of the best call outs ever in a pinball ( "BLAH!". "Nice organ!". "Don't Touch Me There!").
Much more than a great set of boobs :)
Fully operational game with an overall good condition playfield. In fact, one of the least worn EATPM playfields I have seen, due to being mostly mylar-ed protected. Still, there are some minor wear areas as one would expect for a 35 year old game, as well as and some ramp cracks, etc.
Plays great.
The cabinets tidy with a number of marks/scratches, imperfections, etc as well as fade, and damage to decals around legs. Boxes nice and dry and square and would be a super candidate for a full decal job, if that way inclined. Or, just enjoy as is.
Good displays.
Full premium LED-ed and re-rubbered in new Perfectplay silicone rubber. New drop target decals.
30 day return-to base warranty on electronics. After sale service and tech assist available.
Inspection welcomed (Mt Roskill, Auckland 1041).
Pick-up only, or organize your own transport, please. I can, if required, advise a professional pinball moving guy.
Trivia: Elvira and the Party Monsters was made shortly after the merger of Williams and Bally. Although the game uses a vaguely Bally-style cabinet and flippers, all the rest of the game hardware are completely made up of Williams parts.
The slingshot bumpers and in lane rails are decorated with bones; the broken ones were a reference to a motorcycle accident Dennis Nordman had during the development of the game (and, as a result, Mark Ritchie helped with the completion).
