Focus ring is smooth and easy to turn, this lens was a considered a kit lens back when it was introduced, however this is the lightest XR Rikenon 50mm standard lens, it weighs a mere 190 grams. Constructed with 6 elements in 5 groups, Ricoh's finest optical standards ensure high resolution and contrast from center to edge, even at maximum aperture!
