Technics SL-G700 SACD player in pristine condition.
If you need a all-in-one player with flagship top of the line performance, look no further. This is a network streamer (Apple music, Spotify, etc), CD & SACD Player.
This is the first edition, where the DAC chip used was the Asahi Kasei Micro devices’ top-of-the-line DAC AK4497.
The current model is SL-G700M2, which is retailing for $6,200. The only major difference is the DAC chips used in these two versions. The new M2 edition uses ESS ES9026PRO, only because they can't source any legendary AK4497s any more, due to the factory fire happened to Asahi Kasei.
This also makes this model a bit scarce and more collectable. As there are many people out there would prefer the AK4497 than the ES9026 sound.
This device is well-looked after, in a pet and smoke free home.
Comes with all original accessories: power chord, remote, manual, and original box for safe transport. I will also throw in a pair of XLR balance cables (50 cm).
Reluctant sale, as need to fund for other projects.

A couple of questions. Have you played SACD's on it. Want to be sure it can play them Can it stream tidal/Qobuz in hi-res files - 96/24 or higher what amp and speakers are you using it with. k***7 (5 • 3:25 pm, Mon, 20 MayHi there, thanks for the interest. I have played SACDs on it multiple times, and it sounds absolutely divine, it will also show on the screen whether you are playing a CD or a SACD. In case of streaming, I have read something about running Qobuz with them, though I've only used Apple Music through Air Play, and it was fantastic for me. For pairing, I am currently running a Plinius M8/P8 combo, and listening with a pair of Harbeth bookshelf. However, I am not considering anything below the start price at the moment. As stated, I am funding for another project. Plus, this player is hard to come by, and in top condition, with only less than 3 years since new, and with around 150 hours listening time on it.
