Vintage manual focus 35mm film SLR camera Nikon F mount

The Nikon FA was released in 1983 and was Nikon's most advanced manual-focus camera. Like the Nikon FM2 and FE2, it featured a titanium-bladed focal plane shutter with an incredibly fast (for its time) maximum shutter speed of 1/4000s and 1/250s flash sync. It was the first camera to offer a multi-segmented light meter called Automatic Multi-Pattern, which analysed different segments of scene to calculate the correct exposure, the first version of what is now known as matrix or evaluative metering in almost all cameras today.

I've replaced the stock black cover with a recycled leather cover from Hugo Studio.

MAINTENANCE PERFORMED > Regreased lens helicoid

APPEARANCE Excellent cosmetic condition with slight signs of use. Light seals are in good condition.

OPTICS Viewfinder and focusing screen are clean and clear.

FUNCTIONALITY All functions are working as expected.

LENS Excellent condition with minor signs of use. Clean clear glass with one small coating mark on the rear element and tiny minor dust. Smooth focusing and snappy aperture.
