These Beutys came off a large oak tree felled June 2021, log has been seasoning for approx 18 months, they are still a little green and will need further time or to be kiln dried. Slabs cut early January 2023, shed stored since being cut. Moisture content as of Feb 2024 - ranging 9% - 13%.

Slabs have been shed stored since they were cut and strapped down to try to limit movement, some minor movement and cracking caused by drying process. This doesn't affect the quality of timber and can easily be stabilized.

Theses slabs came off a tree that was covered in burls on the outside and this shows with some very nice grain in slab and some large areas of burl. They really do have character out the wazoo and will make some amazing furniture.

Perfect for river tables and epoxy work.
