Description
Large Oak slab, great for epoxy river table. Uneven thickness, will need some flattening, the guide rails moved and this meant that the cut was uneven.
Still a very beautiful piece of wood with some fantastic potential, with a little work.
Sizes as marked in pictures 740mm wide at base x 2750mm long.
Majority of slab is around 70mm thick but it is a little uneven down far end and narrows off to 35mm on one side. See second photo for thickness variation.
Tree was felled in November 2022, seasoned as long for 1 year. Slabs cut November 2023. Slabs have been filleted and strapped down since being milled to help limit movement / cracking.
Timber will still need some time to dry / properly season, depending on desired use.
