We have just machined up some well seasoned Matai with pleasing grain. These boards are in 150 x 42mm lengths up to 600mm long. Some of that dark brown/orange heart wood but mostly plain grain. Well suited to quality cabinetry work, tables, shelving, pen blanks, jewellery boxes, etc. but especially quality carving timber for Maori crafts. Lengths vary from 500 - 600mm with an occasional longer. We will post some photos but inspection is well worth the effort or I can try to fit the timber to your intended use.
