Description
These French style spinning spindles have been used for spinning for at least the last few hundred years.
They look similar to some Russian style spindles but are a bit smaller and lighter.
Unlike the Russian and Tibetan spindles that are used supported with the spindle spinning in a cup or on a table, the French spindles are normally used suspended and just spun with the fingertips.
These are made from NZ Rimu timber and have a nice finish.
