Gorgeous ivory wedding dress purchased from Abbey Bridal in Sydney in 1999. Size 10, as new condition.

The bodice has a square neckline and a lace up back (there's an optional modesty panel). Plenty of boning :) The lace up ribbon is the same fabric as the bodice itself.

The skirt is full (when worn with a 3-hoop petticoat, not included), and has a short train that can be pinned up. There's so much fabric, it's very heavy and luxurious-feeling. There are three positions for the hooks that do up the waistband. The skirt has one tulle petticoat as well as a lining, and we hired the hoop petticoat.

In the centre panel of the bodice, as well as along the border of the bodice and along the edge of the skirt there is an embroidered pattern that is antique gold and ivory in colour.

The veil is also included, it has an antique gold fine ribbon edging. There's also a garland, garter and gloves. There's a loose flower from the garland (see photo), but I can't see where it would attach, so probably not that important, but we have it here in case someone with better eyes figures it out.

The dress was dry cleaned after the wedding, but as you can see from the photos, needs a good press! It's been kept in the same box the dry cleaners packaged it in all these years, and shows no sign of degradation or moth damage.
