Description
Amazing 1950’s/1960’s vintage one piece swim suit (not sure year made). Very cool detailing, built in cups (for that busty/slightly pointy look fashionable at that time) and adjustable straps. U.S. size 12 (NZ size 16). Amazing vintage piece. Pick up Westmere Auckland or shipping to be arranged at buyers expense.

Hey there, this is super funky! Would it be too much trouble to get the waist and bust measurement please? Also does the fabric have any give/stretch? Many thanks c***********z (25 • 4:16 am, Tue, 7 May )Cheers for your question. Isn’t it the coolest? I will get back to you with your questions later today. 🤗 maple__leaf (36 • Tuesday, 7 May 2024 )Hi, to answer your questions, yes it does have quite a bit of stretch/give to it. I’m not really sure exactly how to measure the chest (especially with the built in bra cups that stick out:) or the waist. See photos I will attach with a tape measure next to them. I hope that helps. :) Seller comment Tuesday, 7 May 2024 Seller added 2 photos Seller comment Tuesday, 7 May 2024 The chest measurement is really hard to do with the large built in bra cups. I would say if you are an NZ 16/US 12 you would fit it and it does have stretch. Likewise if you are smaller than that it would still look good due to overall cut and the built in bra cups (that don’t even require filling ;) Seller comment Tuesday, 7 May 2024 Thank you so very much for that! Much appreciated, I shall go check out the added photos c***********z (25 • 4:46 am, Wed, 8 May )Sorry I don’t have a fabric tape measure and am not even sure that’s the waist I’m measuring. Doesn’t really account for the stretch either. 🤪 maple__leaf (36 • Wednesday, 8 May 2024 )Alas she is a vintage 16 *insert crying face here* haha. With the waist of 26" it's a modern 8 maybe a 10 at a push. I'm a size 14 modern, I've seen so many gorgeous vintage swimsuits on here lately and sadly not my size. Still an absolute joy to see regardless. Many thanks once again c***********z (25 • 4:51 am, Wed, 8 May )Thanks, no worries. Sorry it’s very tricky to measure and what I’ve shown may not be at all accurate or account for the stretch of a swimsuit. You’re certainly welcome to try it on if you like. :) maple__leaf (36 • Wednesday, 8 May 2024 )
