CHERISH YOUR CASHMERE: Cashmere is one of the most luxurious fibres in the world. Its amazing lightness keeps you incredibly warm, and with a little care, it will last for many years to come! Cashmere, like wool, responds to its environment and fibres disperse with wear. Pilling on new cashmere is normal, and usually forms on areas of greatest friction, contrary to popular belief this does not reflect quality. Gently remove pilling with a pilling comb before washing and you will find that it soon stops. Always use wool wash or shampoo, never a fabric softener. Steam or press gently through a damp cloth. Store your cashmere clean, as body oil and perfume can increase it's appeal to moths. Moths hate lavender and cedarwood, a few drops on a tissue in your drawer is a great tip - and your cashmere will smell gorgeous.
